Career Expo
A handful of Sleepy Eye businesses took part in the Career Expo on April 23. Those businesses who were encouraging sophomores to come back to Brown County to work were: Zinniel Electric, Mathiowetz Construction, Christensen Farms, Sleepy Eye Medical Center, St. Mary's Catholic School, Brown County REA, Norwood Publishing, SouthPoint Federal Credit Union, Chuck Spaeth Ford, Bolton & Menk, and Volunteers of America. |

Old Sleepy Eye Collector's Club is coming to Sleepy Eye!
It's true - the Old Sleepy Eye Collector's Club is coming back to Sleepy Eye for their 33rd Annual Convention on August 1 & 2, 2008. The convention will include a show and sell of Old Sleepy Eye pottery, stoneware and other related items, hotel room sales, an auction, reproduction displays, business meeting and banquet. The Old Sleepy Eye Collector's Club of America was formed in 1976 and chartered as a nonprofit organization. The club is dedicated to collecting and preservation items related to the Sleepy Eye Milling Company of Sleepy Eye, MN.
